1> Do I have to sign a long-term contract to get a server?
 
24/7 Solutions Online has no contracts on its server packages. Order a server from us on a month-to-month basis. If you're interested, we do have a terrific option where you can pay for your server a year in advance and receive a 10% discount.

2> I am going to need lots of help! Do you have 24 hour support?
 
Yes! We have the absolute best customer support on the Web. We understand that this is a bold statement, but we are committed to proving this to you. If you have questions, check out our extensive Online Help section for scores of guides to help get you through our customer's most common issues. If you can't find what you need, contact our helpful customer support department who are there to answer your questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days per year!

4> How do I get my files to my server?
 
There are several options to upload files to your server. Use any FTP program (WS_FTP, Cute FTP, etc.), Telnet, or if you have a shared or FreeBSD (UNIX) dedicated server. You can also use the "Publish" feature of many popular Web design applications, including Netscape Composer, Netscape Navigator Gold, Net Objects Fusion, AOL Press, Microsoft FrontPage, Delta Quick Site, Adobe PageMill/SiteMill, and many more!

5> How long does it take to get my new server online?
 
The answer to this question depends on your server size. If you have ordered a shared server, we will have your server set up, online, and ready for you to upload your files within 1 business day of receiving payment and processing your order.

If you have ordered a dedicated server, your server will be set up and online within 3 business days from the time your order is processed. For dedicated servers, "setup" means that the machine is built and put online-any file transfers or special requests for dedicated server setup can take up to seven (7) business days.

6> Where can I register a domain name?

7> How do I transfer my domain name to DNS Host?
 
If you have an existing domain name and would like to transfer it to your new 24/7 Solutions Online server, you will need to choose "I own this domain and want to transfer it", from the "Domain Option" table when you order your new server.

8> If I order hosting from 24/7 Solutions Online , and discover that my hosting package is not large enough, how do I upgrade?
 
Upgrading is simple! Once you are a customer, simply go to the password-protected Members Area and choose from the "Upgrade" options.

If you have a shared server and are upgrading to another shared server, use the Shared Server Upgrade form (password required). Once your upgrade is processed, we will automatically cancel your old account.

If you upgrade from a shared to a dedicated server, or from a smaller dedicated server to a larger one, use the Dedicated Server Upgrade form (password required). We will cancel your old server once your new server is online, and you have verified that it has been built to your specifications.

9> Do I get RealAudio/RealVideo with my server?
 
Yes, all our servers offer Media Stream Audio and Videos. Contact support for further questions or if you would like a dedicated server.

10> Do you support FrontPage?
 
Yes, Full Microsoft® FrontPage® 98/2000 Extension Support in our servers is available.

11> How do I find a programmer, Web designer, or Web master?
 
24/7 Solutions Online has in house Web Specialists that fits your needs and budget, for all services that you require

12> Can I host additional domain names?
 
24/7 Solutions Online does allow "virtual hosting" on its hosting packages. If you'd like further information, read our Virtual Hosting FAQ.

13> Which operating systems do you offer on your dedicated servers?
 
24/7 Solutions Online offers FreeBSD (UNIX), Linux, and Windows® dedicated servers. If you need a Solaris machine, e-mail our dedicated server specialist to discuss options.

14> Can I run an adult site on DNS Host servers?
 
24/7 Solutions Online does not allow adult-oriented hosting on its servers. Read our Adult Site Policy @FIXfor further details.
