» And the winners are...
Well, the final results are in. This saturday, there will be the big final between [=RDR=] aka SoF and {HippoZ}. We will set up SourceTV so everyone can watch the game.
Please take note of the special rules that are in effect this match -- see the Rules section below. Basically, we play 2x25 round, with overtime if necessary.
Also, we are now accepting ideas and suggestions for the next league, let's hear it on the forums :)

A post will be made on the forums whenever this is the case.
Please note that breaking any of these rules may result in disqualification
or forfeit of the match, at the moderator's and admin's discretion.
General
Server
Game server will use CAL rules. See http://www.caleague.com/?division=cssm then
click 'Rules'. Some rules below will contradict with the CAL rules, and
will override them.

Game server will use 'Live on 3' script.
82.165.176.114:27205 is the IP address of the server that we will be
using. This will be a dedicated server installed for match play.
SourceTV may be used, with a minimum delay that equals the round time,
according to the CAL settings.
SourceTV IP address is 82.165.176.114:27026.
IRC
Official IRC channel is #jchost.css on network irc.p2p-irc.net.
The leader of each team or a representative is required to be present
in the official IRC channel (for general instructions, last-minute changes).
As soon as it is their clan's time to play their match, they are no longer
required to be present in the IRC channel. All other participants are advices
to be present, but this is not required.
Moderators are required to be present in the IRC channel during
the match(es) they are moderating.
Moderators
Moderators have a free view of the playing field. Moderators are in charge
of the match.
There are to be at least two moderators present each match.
Moderators start the game with the 'Live on 3' script.
Moderators are required to take a screenshot of the score chart at the
end of each half of a match, showing the results of the just played half.
Moderators are required to be present in the IRC channel during the match(es)
they are moderating.
League
Setup
Each team will face each other team once. Matches are determined randomly.
In case of an uneven number of participating teams, each team will sit
out one league round.
The league will end in playoffs, between the teams that
finished first and second. More about playoffs below.
If 2 or more teams end with an equal amount of points, (rounds won -
rounds lost) wll be decisive.
Awarded points: three points (3) for a win - one point (1) for a tie
- zero (0) for a loss.
Each league round will feature a different map. Maps are voted on by
the participating teams. Keep an eye on the forum, as always.
Game
Teams are required to have 5 players playing in each match. However,
if one team cannot meet this requirement, arrangements are allowed to
be made with the opposing team to play with 4 players instead (4v4 instead
of 5v5).
Both teams will start each half with $4000. It is not allowed to go
team > spec
> team to get this money during the game.
Each match consists of 2 halves. At the end of the first half, teams
will switch sides.
Each half consists of 15 rounds. A total of 30 rounds is to be played
each match. If both teams win one half, the match ends in a tie.
The CAL rules regarding ingame chat are not in effect.
The CAL rules regarding bomb planting and defusing are not in effect.
Playoffs
One match that decides the winner of the league.
In this match, each half will consist of 25 rounds.
If both teams win one half, overtime will be issued. One overtime round
consists of two 3-round halves. Overtime rounds will be played until
the tie is broken.
For optimal display, you are advised to view this website in IE 6.0+, FireFox 1.0+, or Opera 7.0+,
at a screen resolution of 1024*768 or higher and with JavaScript enabled.
